‘Bleeding heart’ Lib Dem & Green councils house the FEWEST asylum seekers

Leftie councils run by the Lib Dems and the Greens accommodate the fewest asylum seekers, a review of official Home Office data has revealed. This despite both parties vocally backing open borders and repeatedly voting against measures from both the current Labour and previous Tory governments to implement stricter border controls.

The Home Office data showed that Lib Dem run councils housed 122 refugees on average, while Green Party-led authorities housed 171 on average. This compares to an average of 511 in Labour-run areas, and 216 in Conservative areas.

In a post on X, Reform UK MP Lee Anderson furiously stated:

“Blatant Hypocrisy From the 'Refugees Welcome' Brigade.

I recently did some digging on illegal immigration data and where in the country they are being accommodated. I was shocked to discover that Liberal Democrat and Green voting areas accommodate FEWER asylum seekers.

This is despite both parties proudly pledging their support for asylum seekers and promising to introduce easier legal routes to asylum in Britain in last year’s General Election. If these two bleeding heart, tolerant parties are so in favour of asylum seekers,

why don’t they offer to take more of them? They campaigned for it, they should live with it.”

I couldn’t agree more with Mr. Anderson on this one. The level of tone-deafness that we have to put up with from Green and Lib Dem MPs on the topic of immigration, as they constantly push the “refugees welcome” agenda whilst callously labelling anyone who opposes open borders as a far-right racist, is utterly infuriating.

They are completely out of touch with the prevailing mood in the country at the moment when it comes to the topic of immigration. They engage in performative banner waving when attending pro-migration protests organised by groups like Hope Not Hate and Stand Up To Racism. Any time a politician proposes the kind of ‘detain and deport’ approach to illegal immigration that 95% of the public would strongly support, they clutch their pearls and accuse them of a lack of humanity.

And yet the truth is these bleeding-heart liberals don’t practice what they preach.

Lee Anderson is totally correct… the MPs who push for open borders should be forced to house the most asylum seekers in their constituencies. Then the voters and the virtue-signalling leftie MPs whom they vote for will be forced to deal with the consequences of their actions.

All those ex-Tory voters who turned away from the party at the last election, tactically voting for the Greens and Lib Dems in a “get the Tories out” protest, would soon regret their decisions, I am certain of it.

There appears to be a very strong negative correlation between the likelihood of being a liberal “refugees welcome” virtue-signaller, and the ethnic makeup of the areas that they come from. The less direct interaction with multiculturalism they have, the more likely they are to be strongly supportive of it. It is hypocrisy at it’s most exposed.

Let’s have a system where constituencies that vote for parties promoting strict border controls and detain & deport policies receive the fewest asylum seekers, and those who vote in parties with pro-migration and open border policies receive the most. And let’s see then how the voting patterns play out.

All of the disillusioned middle-classes, the trust fund babies, the idealistic but naïve uni students, and Islington champagne socialists who voted Lib Dem and Green at the last election would be in for a rude awakening. They are used to the comfort of their gated communities and Cotswold estates, shielded from the consequences of their actions, where they are free to preach their pro-migration ideologies from their ivory towers.

Let them experience what their ideologies actually lead to in reality. Let them live with the fear of leaving their homes to be faced with scores of undocumented young men, from cultures where abusing women and girls is commonplace, and who carry cultural norms incompatible with British values.

Let’s see how many of these virtue-signalling lefties stay atop of their pro-migration soap boxes then.

Let the MPs who promote such nonsense policies have to deal with facing their constituents, once they have personally experienced the consequences of open borders policies.

Because I guarantee you one thing… when voters are truly forced to live with the consequences of their actions, we will see the virtue-signalling stop and the bleeding-heart liberal parties wiped out at the ballot box.
